Join us as a participant at the 19th annual statewide student symposium Career Day 2008. The event will be held at Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, NJ . We expect attendance to reach 300-500 students, as well as over 100 professionals including agency owners, creative directors, marketing and media specialists, human resources and recruitment agents and others.
Breakout Session Panel Volunteers
Students will learn from our professional volunteers during our breakout session panel discussions. There are five breakout panel groups with two sessions scheduled for the day, 9:15 am to 10:15 am and 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Portfolio & Resume Review:
Calling all copywriters, creative and art directors please help budding creative and graphic design students create a portfolio that will help them land their first job. Agency owners, recruiters and Human Resource personnel if you have the time your valuable skills of what you look for in resumes can help these entry-level job seekers land their first job. Portfolio and Resume reviewers are needed from 2:15 to 4:00 pm. Please confirm your participation by completing the Portfolio & Resume Review questionnaire.
Raffle Prizes:
The NJ Ad Club Career Day committee is looking for donations for the afternoon Raffles. Your donations are welcome. Suggested items are: gift certificates, event tickets, music CDs, movie DVDs/videos, t-shirts and any other suggestions you may have. To donate a raffle prize, please complete the Raffle Donation .
Sharing your professional experiences in marketing, advertising and related fields is invaluable to the students who will be traveling from various colleges and universities throughout the area. We all will reap the benefits of this experience. Your participation can help students achieve or even realize their career aspirations.
