Testimonials

In life there are necessities. Listen to past attendees who listed Career Day at the top of their "To Do" list.

Career Day provides students with an opportunity to network with professionals and gain valuable insight into career directions that are available to them in marketing, advertising, graphic design and public relations. It's one educational day. Full of real-life answers. Whether you're a marketing major, communications major, Liberal Arts major, English major, graphic designer, web designer, photographer, interested in sales and account management, Media/Broadcast, Info tech/MIS, and especially undecided, Career Day is one event that can give you some perspective toward your career destination.

"I attended Career Day last year and have only the most positive things to say about it! My two favorite parts were listening to the keynote speaker and attending the breakout sessions. Not only did I gain valuable information about business, resumes and interviewing skills, but I also got an interview with one of the speakers for an internship position. The following week after my interview I got the job! I worked as a paid intern for the spring semester. My experience was so valuable, and it will set me apart from the rest when I graduate. I encourage everyone to go to Career Day because it is a "hands on" opportunity to learn about business and teaches skills that are not learned in a classroom. Most importantly, it is beneficial to your future!"

"Career Day last year was great. It gave me an opportunity to network with professionals who know the ins and outs of an industry that I am studying. All of the speakers were very informative and answered all of my questions about finding a job after graduation. I definitely plan on attending again this year and would recommend anyone who is serious about their future to attend too."
